With the last few weeks filled with talk about bisexuality and predators and other beastly problems, I think it is time for a vacation rest.
As I am sitting at my computer the packing details are calling to me. Have you ever thought of planning, shopping, and packing food supplies for 18 people for nine days? That is this mama’s job!
It is time for the Cherry family vacation…the time when we refuel our bodies, souls, and spirits while all camped together in a vacation house with (hopefully) at least three bathrooms.
Years ago I was a fan of camping. I have officially outgrown that fantasy. This will be a close encounter of the air-conditioned kind.
With four grandbabies aged three years and under, and our five-, nine-, and eleven-year-olds mixed in with our four teens, how quiet do you expect this getaway to be? I will keep you posted. Literally.

Quiet? Noooo. LOL Wonderful, blessed, restful and joyous? If your family is anything like ours (and I suspect it is!) Oh yeah! Have an amazing vacation.
I prefer to call it a trip to avoid those unrealistic expectations! I’ll let you know how it turns out.
While you’re enjoying your A/C, we’ll be having our first real camping experience as a family. Oh my… Even though you’ll be living it up indoors, don’t forget the s’mores! -diane

We do this once a year as well, with 12 kids under the age of 10, so I know EXACTLY how quiet it will be for you! Have fun relaxing, and thanks for linking up today!
Relaxing is going to be nice without the pressures of the homefront! Maybe earplugs would help. :)
